Nordic Insulation Package

HydroSpring Spas® employs a layered insulation approach for hot tubs, mirroring the insulation methods used in homes. The initial step involves applying closed-cell 2-pound high-density foam on the Spa shell exterior, layered with 6 coats of vinyl ester resin as part of our Nordic insulation package. Subsequently, we utilize high-density polyurethane foam board in dual layers for perimeter insulation on the cabinet walls and underside. This is topped with infrared thermo-foil to prevent ambient heat loss. Finally, the quarter-inch ABS bottom shell plate is entirely insulated using the same high-density polyurethane foam and thermo-foil, creating a fully enclosed sealed unit resistant to water and pests.

Hydro Flo Self Filtering System

In addition to Aristech Acrylics®  excellent gloss and color retention, their Bio-Lok® surfaces are naturally impervious to microbes, without the need of added chemicals. The non-porous nature of Aristech Acrylics®  Bio-Lok® sheet defends against the penetration and subsequent growth of microbes on its surface. Bio-Lok® hot tubs are shielded
against microbes, easy-to-clean, durable, and do not contain any antimicrobial chemicals, pesticides or similar additives.
